Medrol and Meibomianitis19 Oct 2008 05:15 GMT2
I have mild blepharitis and my Opth has prescribed me with Medrol,
after trying Chlorisg which didn't do anything. Although I have had
the condition for years, it was in remission (to the extent that it
didn't bother me) but last year I think changing acne treatment caused
Acuvue Oasis quality issues17 Oct 2008 06:35 GMT8
I have gotten Acuvue Oasis around Sept. '05, and they were definitely
more comfortable than the lenses I was wearing before.
On the other hand, the quality issues with the lenses themselves were
quite horrendous. Basically, I'd say that good 33-40% of all lenses I
Round glasses wanted.15 Oct 2008 03:18 GMT1
I want to get steel-rimmed circular glasses so that I can
adjust the astigmatism (cylinder) properties by rotating the

Focal length, dioptre, magnification14 Oct 2008 23:04 GMT12
I would like to ask the specialists a question.
I have a magnifying glass. I measure the focal length by seeing how

Eye strain from PC13 Oct 2008 07:21 GMT3
Over the last 4-6 months I've been getting a lot of headaches which

eyestrain caused by my excessive PC usage. I'm my own worst enemy in
this regard, spending 10-12 hours per day at my PC, 5-6 days per week,
Which Prescription To Use12 Oct 2008 22:11 GMT1
It seems that the last optometrist I went to messed up with my
prescription for my right eye, higher then it should have been, then
when I went back to him again, he just keep increasing the spherical
values for both eyes.
Can someone help me through the BS?04 Oct 2008 07:05 GMT6
My prescription is +1.75 add +2.25, progressive bifocals.
The pair I bought 4 years ago were extremely comfortable, but the lenses got
progressively smearier until they just couldn't be cleaned.
Two years ago I bought two pair (everyday and safety) without the
bifocal blues02 Oct 2008 19:01 GMT3
I've accumulated enough birthdays that now I'm in the bifocal years -- and
received my first pair a week ago.  I'm miserable... I'm pretty sure the seg
height is way too high due to the way the fitter measured my pupil position.
I habitually hold my chin up at a greater angle than ...
Otis is having cataract surgery01 Oct 2008 04:37 GMT1
And, according to him, he's currently at -7.00d.
Makes ya' wonder ... with ALL that research, plus lens therapy, and
studious avoidance of eye doctors ... why his myopia has progressed.
No matter.  When all else fails -- as it apparently has for him --
