Hey, Guys,
My mom has cataracts for the last few years. And though several
surgeons has recommended that she delay her cataracts surgery, her
declining vision has caused her myopia to surge from -5 to -8, and
Bifocal contact lenses16 Jan 2008 00:20 GMT6
I have a question about bifocal contacts.  Do they (as the name implies)
provide only two points of focus like bifocal glasses?  I currently wear
progressives because I need the gradual transition between near and far
corrections - I could not adjust to regular bifocal glasses.  ...

Has anyone had any experience with this lens? Also would there be a better
material for a rimless, progressive with a moderate prescription?
Trying to settle on the best product for an order I need to put in.

Monthly contact lenses13 Jan 2008 23:04 GMT5
Is the life of a monthly contact lens determined by how much it is worn?  For
example, if I have a pair of monthlies and I only wear them 3-4 times in a
month do I really have to throw them away at the end of the month?

them, I had glass.  I noticed a drop in "brightness" with the polycarbonate

Subject: The opinion of Association of Petroleum-Geologists Society
In his work, Wegener presented a large amount of circumstantial

Lens thickness07 Jan 2008 06:55 GMT9
Are there any tools online for giving a rough idea how thick glasses
lenses will be at their thickest point given the prescription, size of
lens and lens type?  I've ordered some 1.67 thinnest lenses online and
these are much thicker a pair from an almost identical prescription ...
PD between my new prescription and an old one04 Jan 2008 03:06 GMT1
Recently, I have my eyes checked and got a new prescription. The results
were not that much diff from the one I did about 2 years ago. One thing
that kind of stood out is the PD readying. My new prescription is 67 mm
and the old one is 71 mm. If I decide to get a new pair of ...
