I have focus dailies contact lenses which i try to wear sometimes, but
i find them extremely difficult to use. It's almost impossible to put
them in (they keep flipping inside out and sticking to my finger), and
i can't tell if i'm putting them in thr right way (can't see any lips

Previously, I had eyewear with regular anti-reflective lenses.
Since two weeks ago, I have been wearing new glasses, this time with
Crizal lenses. I purchased this from Cohen's Fashion Optical.
Maybe I missed the point but exactly how is this supposed to be better

My 25 year old daughter has one eye that is -2.75 and one eye that is -.75.
The eye pro says its up to her whether she gets glasses but I think the worse
eye is quite nearsighted. I wonder what the opinion here would be on whether
she should get them and how much she would need to ...
Wal-Mart is using polycarbonate - should I?22 Dec 2007 00:43 GMT5
I went to the local Wal-Mart optical store recently and discovered that they
are only advertising polycarbonate lenses.  I've read a number of old
threads about polycarb and the consensus seems to be that it is more prone
to scratching then CR39.  Wal-Mart does include ...

Question!16 Dec 2007 15:53 GMT1
I have just read the post about the girl with the -2.75 & -0.75 prescription

I also have one eye that is -2.75 with -0.25 of astigmatism, the other eye is
-2.25. Technically I can read and use the computer without glasses but the
AcuView vs. PureVision16 Dec 2007 10:15 GMT8
Doctor prescribed me AcuView instead of the previous PureVision that I
used before.
I like AcuView much more since they are (or at least seem) thinner and
much softer.

The Lasik Report14 Dec 2007 23:03 GMT4
I had lasik performed on my eyes about 2 months ago to correct
nearsightedness. After reading the Lasik Report, I would agree
I made a mistake. I now have high order aberrations (glare, night time/
low light problems) and my visual acuity is not as good as it was with
Reading glass lense falling out - need some help14 Dec 2007 00:26 GMT2
We have a pair of reading glasses and one lens keeps falling out.  It
was taken back to Wal-Mart (yes, I know, but it was convenient) and
they did something that worked for a while, but it is popping out
again.  There are no screws or even a well defined grove, so I have to

Hi, I live in the UK, and I am still waiting for a response to my AMO

me that it is now in AMO USA hands, but they may drag it out hoping I
may give up. Can anyone tell me of the progress in the USA. Have there
Carotenoid Transport into the RPE13 Dec 2007 01:39 GMT17
Fair warning: I've had very little time(<2 weeks) to research and think
about this so don't be surprised if I am blundering along here.
I'm trying to track down the following:
Whether or not there are differing transporters into the rod and cone cells,
