I went to an eye exam and ordered new temporary glasses.  They are
temporary because I will have a cataract removal and IOL implant in my
right eye in a couple of months.  You may recall that my right eye has

Eye drop preservatives17 Apr 2007 23:34 GMT3
How much of a concern are preservatives, with daily, long term use of
lubricant eye drops?  Someone must be concerned, since they seem to be
selling a lot of the "single serving" dispensers now.  The cost and
inconvenience factor is kind of high though.  What's the whole story?

glare, the biggest reason for computer eye strain is that we're alway
trying to "focus" on the computer monitor, which is impossible because

ICL implants a good idea?12 Apr 2007 17:41 GMT2
Hi, everyone!  Thanks in advance for your help!
I'm a 31-year-old software developer who has been interested in vision
enhancement surgery for many years now.  I'm apparently not a good
candidate for LASIK or PRK due to my high level of correction (-9 to
flexon and nickel allergy12 Apr 2007 04:21 GMT3
Does anybody have any knowledge whether a person with nickel allergies
should wear flexon frames? Flexon is a Titanium/Nickel based alloy. I
did some searching, and I didn't find anybody that complained their
Flexon frames aggravated their nickel allergies. The salesperson
laser pointer eye protection12 Apr 2007 04:16 GMT5
I've been trying to find information about the safety of laser pointers.
I've found lots of discussions in this group from the past but none that
specifically address my situation.  (Not surprising.  What I'm trying to do
is rather odd.)
