photochromatic lenses07 Mar 2007 02:49 GMT13
Are there any photochromatic lenses that are useful both indoors and
outdoors as sunglasses?  I understand that they won't work in a car, but
from everything I have read, they don't work as sunglasses either, so
what's the point?
Expert optical advice requested06 Mar 2007 20:29 GMT16
I have aniseikonia (a disparity in image size between my eyes)
associated with an epiretinal membrane, which was surgically peeled
over a year ago.  My main symptom has been excessive tearing in my
affected eye in addition to a gradual decline in my ability to fuse.

2.5 diopter lens, in order to fully correct it.
I definitely start to sense some loss in focus, when I'm ~3 feet from
Refraction changes after cataract surgery?04 Mar 2007 22:47 GMT3
A little over two years ago, I had cataract surgery on my right (good) eye.
After a few months, presumably after my eye stabilized, I was rerefracted
for glasses. Since then, it appears that that ey has become more myopic.
Is that common? How much time is reasonable after the ...
How Important is Base Curve on Contact Lenses?02 Mar 2007 20:46 GMT10
Hi there, I've been fitted with contacts with base curves of 8.4, 8.5
and 8.6 at various time.  I now only wear contacts for a few hours at
a time (eg going out, or swimming or other athletic sort of stuff).
That's due to dry eyes with long wear and no longer being vain enough
IOP question01 Mar 2007 08:53 GMT1
If the eye pressure is measured at some value, what says that is a
pretty good indication of what the pressure is within the vitreous
chamber?
