I am having problems with my new reading glasses and need to know what the
prescription numbers describe.
So far, I am assuming that the "Sphere" refers to magnification (or
equivalent) but do not know what the "Cylinder" and "Axis" specify.

 I just had an eye exam and my prescription is as follows...
          -2.00
          -2.00
 That's all that is written on it...

I posted the first parts of these about two years ago.  My wife and I
have had valid driver licenses for 40 years.  Two years ago, both my

I am a very high myope, in one eye.  I've just moved up in lens strength
from the minus 12 I was wearing, which was not a full prescription, to a
minus 14.  My doctor got a minus 13.5 and a minus 14 from Ciba - Focus
Monthly.  The minus 14 is the real deal.  Trouble is, CIBA is ...

i just bought a pair of prescription specs with reactolite lenses - but
after 8 hours of use i haven't noticed them go dark! this included
walking around outside in a cloudy uk november day for several hours,
and staring up at my kitchen fluorescent lamp for a few minutes.

Is there some source or sources that is essentially a "Consumer'
Report" on the various lens replacements.  How well they are working
out.

I've heard that both eyes are required for depth perception. Does
that apply to 3-D computer games?
I suspect that sounds like a dumb question, but I'm double checking.

What are the risks of experimentation with various lenses for
reading or computer glasses?
How about correcting one eye and removing the lens from in front of
the other?

What is the best method of Surgery to prevent complications.
1) Using Mitomycin C
