While I can understand that it may not be very big deal to edge stock mass produced single vision lens blanks for various combinations of spherical and cylindrical power, are stock blanks also used for bifocals and trifocals? That would seem to require a very large variety of blanks ...

Regarding treatment(s) for Cataracts: I always thought that laser treatment to remove cataracts is the state of the art. But I have recently seen articles where lasers are not even mentioned;

I work on the PC alot, and use eye glasses. Sometimes just after couple of hours of use, my eyes hurt. I was wondering if it is good to rest one eye at a time by closing it using a helper and operate using only the other eye.
