I have an interest in photogryphy and would like to know if anyone could help solving the following question: Is it true that the eye distinguishes fewer luminance levels in the dark areas of a print due to visual interference from the light areas than in the brighter ones

With my recent prescription change, I'm going through the always tortuous process of selecting new lenses and frames. It'll be single-vision with good quality anti-reflective and anti-scratch, UV-resistant coatings (Trivec, maybe?).

i have been struggling with progressive myopia for several years now, with my prescription going up almost 5 points in the last two years. i can still see ok with glasses, but they are now almost 30 points and going up fast. any ideas when this will end? also, any suggestions

My daughter 8rs old...was hit in the head at school by a fellow student who kicked a soccer ball at close range to the back of her head. She suffered concussion and all the symptoms....including loss of vision.

Hi! I have been wearing contact lenses since I was maybe 16. Hard lenses. For severe myopia. My eye doctor was a close family friend and he was worried about how bad my eyes were getting, so he gave me contacts to help slow the progression.
