Hi group, I apologise if this gets asked all the time, but I'd like to get an objective opinion on the appropriate lenses for the new frames I'm buying from giarre.com. The prices may seem a little steep due the the

| Frozen focus? | 05 Jul 2006 01:04 GMT | 8 |
In the past couple of years presbyopia has become acutely apparent (I just turned 40, ugh!) and now a backsided cataract (meaning its on the inside of the lens, instead of the outside), due to previous uveitis. Even at the beginning of the year, my vision was still

| Change in prescription due to contact lens? | 03 Jul 2006 11:43 GMT | 11 |
It's only of academic use to me, but am curious to know what kind of dioptre change in prescription is possible when the eye is tested the day after contacts were last worn. Obviously the type of lens worn is a major factor. Are there any studies/figures around for this?

| RGP fit (tight vs. loose) | 02 Jul 2006 01:14 GMT | 23 |
Sorry to keep bugging the group with my RGP's, but things seem fairly slow anyway. My RGP fit, in my non-professional opinion, is on the loose side. When I blink they go up, then slide back down and hang low. If I turn my
