Focus point13 Mar 2006 02:08 GMT23
I sometimes suffer discomfort when not wearing glasses. My prescription is

reading although I sometimes get eye strain. Someone said that it might be
that I am noticing the 'differnce in focus points'. What ...

near work causes accelerated myopia progression11 Mar 2006 12:44 GMT9

I know there are many disabled people who read ACF, so I don't think it
would be OT here.

I will not say anything bad about Dr. G nor about anyone else!09 Mar 2006 01:43 GMT12
Ok, let me have my two cents. I think Dr. G is a nice guy. he has
helped me with my concerns in another forum. We also talked about RGP
contacts. If I ever visit Texas for vacation or to meet someone, I will
drop by him for orthoK or RGP contacts. He will determine if im a

If we allow the following:
All myopia exists only where there is mandatory public education.
In a college-educated population, the majority are myopic.  In a

Any injuries caused by hand-held lasers?08 Mar 2006 03:28 GMT2
If anyone has knowledge of any injuries caused by hand-held laser devices,
please get in touch with me.  By the way, I am not a lawyer, just a person
interested in the general well being of our fellow citizens.

Mobile phone use after laser eye treatment?08 Mar 2006 01:42 GMT11

especially with prolonged use.
Has there been any studies done to see the effects?
Another Large Fly to Drop In Otis' Ointment07 Mar 2006 19:00 GMT27
I will assume, for this discussion, you have read my thread about
myopia and intelligence.  Let's look at another serious defect in the
military studies that Otis loves to quote.

test... I was a bit miffed by that.
