Due to it's inherent lack of height a widesceen picture is tremendously
wasteful in terms of energy usage and bandwidth.
Typically half of the image displayed is wasted which means a widescreen
TV uses approximately twice as much energy a more sensibly sizeed screen

I seem to have acquired some on one of my 4-month-old Sunsoft Multiples
Toric lenses.  It was fine in the morning, it felt odd by evening, and the
next morning when I inserted it it was so irritating I had to remove it
