IOL., paralyzed pupil and eyewash kits06 Jan 2006 16:06 GMT2
Hi again to all. . .My tale of the botched cataract and the left-over
fragment is posted below. Well, I used dandruff shampoo tonight, nine
weeks since surgery, and got a little in the implant eye. I nearly went
through the ceiling with the pain and couldn't see at all for a few

I will post these ideas expressed by Donald Rehm,
How much safer are contact lenses and orthoK than lasik or laser surgury?06 Jan 2006 05:13 GMT17
Some people(wont be giving names) have stated the risks of contact
lenses. They are correct but I argue that the risks are tiny compared
to the risks of lasik. Both options will reduce your dependancy on
glasses but contacts, including orthoK will achieve the goal safely,

This topic has come up in other forums. Theres alot of skeptics

would be all over the country and youd see wavefront glasses offered as
Cataract fragnent and elevated IOP05 Jan 2006 05:49 GMT2
Hi, and thanks to all for bearing with me. I finally got up the nerve
to schedule a post-cataract vitrectomy to have the large particle of
lens removed. I have also asked to change primary opthalmologists
because the first one failed to see or diagnose the fragment. I am
Retained, subluxated cataract fragment04 Jan 2006 17:57 GMT7
More of the eye saga. . .It's been ten weeks tomorrow since my botched
cataract surgery. I consulted a retinal specialist and was told about
the piece of my old lens left in the vitreous humor. If you look
closely, the fragment is clearly visible through the paralyzed pupil.
Runway finder website04 Jan 2006 03:23 GMT2
While not exactly what the title describes, kinda a nice site to get a
quick overview of the weather conditions.
It's a frappr map style interface.  Type in your airport identifier, click
the link and it will give you some runway information.  No graphical

PureVision CL sleep-ins have to come out at night03 Jan 2006 22:57 GMT11
My wife's recently had a cataract op and went from -7 to 0.
Hoever, the other eye remains at -7. So a partial rx (-3.50) contact lens
allows some residual myopia to read, etc. The optometrist prescribed B+L
PureVision Toric: 14mm, BC 8.7, SPH -3.50, CYL -1.75, AX 170.
Lasik Problem During Sleep03 Jan 2006 12:28 GMT8
I was doing great with Lasik - 5.5 days and 5 nights without an issue.
I woke up after night 6 with my right eye in pain and right eye vision
noticeably blurry. I had been sleeping on my right side - don't know if
that caused it or not - but I used drops every 10-15 minutes all day

Dear Scientific Friends,

Contact lenses not well adjusted03 Jan 2006 00:34 GMT11
I was disappointed when I received my new disposable contact lenses
because I see blurry from the left eye. I can still read, but sometimes
with difficulty. In 6 months I will go for another eye exam, but will
visit a different doctor this time. Should I go as soon as possible
