I have had normal floaters for a while now, the kind you can't see
unless you try.  Suddenly I have had two vitreous hemorrages.  The
right eye was first, then three weeks later, the left eye.  The left
eye was much worse and has left me with a nice ugly film which I know

One upon a time I had a scleral buckle.
As part of that I had a mira-gel sponge placed in the eye.
A year or so ago I had it taken out as it had expanded to 4 times it's
original size.
