Spherical aberration31 Jul 2005 00:17 GMT21
I've done a little boning up on this subject and on the larger area of

wave front optics is still a young area scientifically, and there
remains considerable variation in opinions among the experts.
K values and PRK/Lasik?30 Jul 2005 17:03 GMT44
I had a preliminary evaluation for PRK or Lasik.  I have about a -5.0

I went from a taller pair of glasses lenses to a more stylish shorter pair

I just started wearing contact lenses a few weeks ago, and was given

Thanks for the advice. I read the messages and got a pair of Maui Jim

Contact lenses question30 Jul 2005 03:21 GMT3
If the specs (power, etc.) for the right eye are the same as left eye,
can I use the left lens in my right eye, and vice versa?
Or in different words, does contact lenses come dedicated for  a
specific eye or they could be used in any side that match their specs?

During the second week of May, I walked into my local (Bloomfield, NJ)

I work for a publishing company and we recently published a book with 2

they could not see the red type.  After reading up on the Internet, it
seems the safest color for people with color vision deficiency is ...

From reading sci.med.vision, I have recently learned of a conditio
called pseudomyopia, aka accommodative myopia, which apparently i
