What is the best source of eyeglasses over the internet? I am looking for a very thin lense for a ~-5.0 diopter single vision correction. I want a really thin lense, maybe glass, if that is the way to go. Thanks

I have googled quite a bit to see what can be found about the appropriateness of toric contact lenses for prescriptions like mine. I have tentatively concluded I might not be a good match...but I figure the best thing to do is ask...

Without 100% sterilization of all things that touch the eye or could even pass it between patients, it makes sense anything passing from mother to newborn can just as readily be transmitted by eye surgery. If CJD can be transmitted readily then this just makes sense. With

I had an inquiry from a person who's surgeon didn't think she needed to know what IOL was put in her eye. Didn't it used to be the rule to give patients an IOL ID card so that if there ever were a recall or problem that people would know what they had? What happened to that ...
