Did someone write something on this forum about a way to make money by posting info on a discussion. Is that true? Do you know anything about that? I'd make a ton... thanks for any info in advance.

| Newly advertised therapy for refraction errors... | 19 May 2005 14:45 GMT | 6 |
Sometime ago, I read a brochure at my wife's OD's office that some new type of contact lenses which you wear while you are sleeping overnight helps to re-shape your cornea (? - not sure if it said this) and during day time you are free from wearing any type of lenses, but you ...

| Blinking shadows in time with heartbeat | 16 May 2005 13:24 GMT | 8 |
I've got pretty bad nearsightedness, (around -9.75 in each eye). I've had problems for a few years now with massive numbers of floaters, flashing lights, and sometimes when I sneeze or cough real hard, I see what look like fireflies blinking on and off all over in

| LASIK eye surgery, starburst | 15 May 2005 18:01 GMT | 82 |
I have already asked a bit similar type of question before, but since I was forwarded back here from elsewhere.. As many of you know, in an eye that has been treated with LASIK surgery, there is a center area (about 6mm) that has perfect refractive correction.

| Two vitrectomies? | 15 May 2005 04:18 GMT | 2 |
On another group, a member posted a message claiming that he had had two vitrectomies in the same eye. Once the vitreous is removed, it never regenerates, does it? Then how is it possible to have two such procedures in the same eye (for diabetes, in that case)?

| Over-minus lenses for night vision problems? | 12 May 2005 22:46 GMT | 1 |
According to this abstract, minus lenses caused mild decrease in halos by constricting the pupils. I'm asuming if it works for halos it might work for starbursts. So what are minus lenses? Anyone had experience with them?

| Eyeglass Scratch Remover | 12 May 2005 21:44 GMT | 5 |
Liquid Lense makes scratches on your eyeglasses virtually undetectable. The amazing fill and seal technology lets you glide over unsightly scratches, and create a perfectly level seal. Once sealed, you'll never be able to notice where the scratch used to be. And because of the

| Irregular astigmatism vs HOAs | 12 May 2005 13:26 GMT | 11 |
I've read that irregular astigmatism created by LASIK can be treated with INTACS. But not HOAs. What's the difference? Especially if both are the result of LASIK. I always thought HOAs was a newer term for irregular astigmatism but they were essentially the same.
