I have mild myopia at -2/-1.75 but I would like to be as nearsighted as my
girlfriend as we both have a fettish for nearsightedness.
Is it possible to have my myopia increased to say -6 using eye surgery?
Who would be willing to do such a procedure?

Since I have Type 2 diabetes, I get checked twice a year and - except

Spectacle lenses for myopia are stronger than contact lenses for the same
patient. If one is merely asked to state the degree of myopia for a given
individual, is the preferred figure the one using spectacle correction or
contact-lens correction? Or should you always specify what ...
Normal sighted parents who create myopic children25 Apr 2005 11:20 GMT68
There seems to be this theme running thru families of myopes that i
know.
The parents want the best for their children. Their opinion on what

CK procedure for presbyopia24 Apr 2005 04:05 GMT3
Looking at these websites re: CK procedure, they refer to the after
vision as 'blended vision' as opposed to 'mono-vision'. I find this
confusing. I'm trying to understand what this is and how it works. Can
anyone explain how this procedure does not compromise your distance

corrected near, intermediate, and distance correction. this has not worked
out as planned, even with a substitute lens of higher power ...
