A patch of flickering12 Mar 2005 19:45 GMT5
At times I see a patch of vision that is flickering, mainly in the left
eye but occasionally in the right as well.  It is most pronounced when I
enter a warm building after being in the cold for awhile.  It is only
with a specific area with clearly defined borders which seems to ...

Since there were no -1.5 torics i was wearing -1.75 Focus Toric
My Astigmatism has been 'cured' - What does this mean?  If anything?10 Mar 2005 23:32 GMT2
Hi, I have had Astigmatism for my whole life, only moderate but it was

much more focused on a good diet, daily exercise including daily
weights and 1/2 hour walk, more sleep, and a certain set of vitamins.

We should consider "cause", begin dealing with it.08 Mar 2005 17:58 GMT10
Dear Prevention minded friends,
Here is an Ophthalmologist who recommends
that we begin dealing with the "cause",
and not spend so much time with the
wearing daily disposibles longer than prescribed?08 Mar 2005 17:27 GMT3
I'm a contact wearer for about 10 years now.  I started with
non-disposibles, then after a year, got a bad case of conjunctivitis,
and switched to 2 week disposibles.  About 3 years ago, I switched to
Focus Dailies.  When I started out, for the first year and a half, I

Looking for cheap backup bifocals08 Mar 2005 04:52 GMT4
We're taking a trip to Central America, and I would like to have a backup
pair of eyeglasses. Sears currently has a deal on glasses - for $97 it
includes frames, no-line bifocals, and what they call "ultralight lenses."
I'm on the 2nd year of my current prescription (my first ...

I have a lens that is very similar to the Verilux Comfort and I'm very happy
with it.
Went to Costco and they said they use Ovation lenses. They said Ovations are
very similar to Verilux.
