ACCK! I am a -2 myope who is having trouble working at my computer. I
see ok, but my eyes are very fatigued and get so within an hour. Also,
my current glasses no longer work as well for distance. Sigh. A sign of
the inevitable? I will be 43 next month.

Is my opthamologist not good, proffesional enough? Says i don't have much choice for contact lenses.. (astigmatism)27 Jan 2005 01:50 GMT7

optomap exam26 Jan 2005 23:23 GMT1
I recently went in for my annual dilated checkup. They had just gotten

Plastic Lenses without AR coating +  is there UV protection if you don't have AR coating?26 Jan 2005 19:37 GMT1
Does anyone who makes lenses without AR coating?  I've called about 10

lenses.
Bates Method26 Jan 2005 16:46 GMT14
I accept the idea of WH Bates that refractive errors are the result of

formative years at school where incorrect reading habits are acquired.
A minority of pupils learn to stare at printed text and lose some of
Does myopia get better with age?26 Jan 2005 12:08 GMT13
Some people claim their myopia gets better as they age. Is this true? If so,
will Lasik to plano result in hyperopia later on?
Frozen contacts26 Jan 2005 09:05 GMT2
I ordered soft contact lenses via mail, and due to my own
forgetfullness they sat in the outside mailbox for a couple days in
10-20 degree weather.  Are they ruined?
Thanks,

Current eyeglasses styles for men26 Jan 2005 00:33 GMT4
I'm not sure if this is the right group for this.  I think it's time to
upgrade my glasses.  Any way to find out what's in style for men nowadays?
Thanks,
Mike

The woman I dealt with was obviously far more knowlegeable
