Because of job changes and companies changing insurance carriers,
I've had to go to a different eye doctor every year.  And every
year, they say "that was the wrong type lens for you," and give
me a different polymer lens with the same problems.

Piggy back question13 Dec 2004 17:32 GMT7
I wear RGP contacts in the evenings because of starbursting, ghosts,
etc caused by LASIK surgery.  But I don't tolerate contacts well.
Wearing them requires using Auify eyedrops every hour.
I tried piggybacking Focus N&D and Acuvue Advance.  One is not better

I've got yet another chalazion, this time in my upper eyelid and a little
higher up and less close to the edge. I'm getting really fed up! I'm 35 and
this is 5 chalazions and 4 operations in as many years.
I guess it's off to hopsital again for another cut-out, but I thought I'd ...

Lower eyelid spasm11 Dec 2004 21:52 GMT4
About three weeks ago I developed a lower lid spasm (myokymia?) after flying
north for a weekend.  I wear contact lenses and it seems to have started as
an irritation that led to the spasm (although it could have been the other
way around).  I also travelled the following week ...
ION (caused by drugs?)11 Dec 2004 21:13 GMT1
I recently lost about 30% vision in one eye which has been diagnosed as
ischemic optic neuropathy (ION). I have been taking various meds such

Lovastatin.

Dear Prevention minded friends,

and insists all the scientific truth is "in error" and you
Horizontal deviation: surgery only if more than 30 prisms?11 Dec 2004 18:06 GMT2
It seems that I have a horizontal deviation that is responsible for my
double vision. It is 5-10 prisms at the far left and increases to 10-15
prisms to the far right. It seems to me a considerable deviation.
However, my Doctor said that horizontal deviation under, or equal to 30

2 eye doctors Rxed thick-gel drops before

should I get contacts?09 Dec 2004 22:36 GMT4
I just got glasses, and I can see quite clearly now however my depth
perception up close is way off. For example when I'm walking with my glasses
on I feel a lot taller compared to without glasses. I also have a difficulty
navigating obstacles close to my feet. Another annoyance ...
