| B&L SoftLens 66 Toric - monthly or 2-week disposable? | 17 Oct 2004 04:09 GMT | 4 |
(Pardon my English, I'm not a native English speaker..) 4 months ago, I went to an optimetrist to try out new contant lenses, since the older ones (Horizon 55 Toric) had made my eyes dry. This was the first time I went to him. I asked him for *MONTHLY* disposable

Worn lenses for 10 years+ and inititiall had issues with red eye caused by wearing lenses during all waking hours. A change to Proclear a couple of years ago seemed to overcome any issues (as I were told then they are the most oxygen permable lens?)

I've been diagnosed with keratoconus about half a year ago. Up to then i didn't know why my vision was so bad. The doctor who examined me has taken a long time to explain all things about keratoconus and that the only treatment available is wearing hard contact lenses to 'correct'

| Serengeti Drivers (sunglasses) Clones? | 13 Oct 2004 21:26 GMT | 3 |
For several years I've used Serengeti Drivers sunglasses (non-prescription, brown coating), and love them. I like how they brighten the reds and greens -- great not only for driving, but also for outdoor use. They really cut through haze, too.

| Pink Eye Medicine Over-the-counter | 11 Oct 2004 19:08 GMT | 1 |
In the USA I saw an ad for an over-the-counter medicine for "pink eye." How would a person know if they had pink eye without seeing a doctor who would provide a prescription. I have had red eyes, but they were never "pink eye." A person could buy the medicine, and that might delay ...

| Ciba N&D or Purevision for Astigmatism | 11 Oct 2004 18:54 GMT | 1 |
Can anyone advice which lens tends to give better vision for mild astigmats. As far as I am aware the ciba lens is aspeheric so should mask mild astigmatism better than a regular lens. The ciba lens predictor tends to suggest a higher lens power than for a traditional no aspheric ...
