Is there such a thing as  disposable hard contacts?04 Sep 2004 14:16 GMT2
I use RGP HDS contacts but have to replace them every couple months
because my eyes are always trying to reject them-- Secreting the same
substance Allergy sufferers do. Sure wish I could replace them more
often. At $100/pair dicount from my optometrist changing them more

Thanks to all who provided input to our original posting. We do appreciate
it. We had to take a few days to digest all the info and read the document
provided by Neil (it did help understand Hyperopia much better - thanks!).
This is all new to us since we have no history of vision ...

I found out a had a lazy eye when I was 16, and it could not be
corrected. I currently wear a strong prescription +3.00, +3.50 I think

wrong, just an hypermetropic eye.
