Rodenstock Frame Replacement Problem30 Sep 2004 22:10 GMT20
Last year I purchased a pair of Rodenstock progressive glasses at Sams
Club.  I like the progressives just fine.  Today I bent over to pick
up some dropped mail, I whooshed a bug in front of my face, and splat
the glasses went to the pavement.  No lens scratches at all.

Monovision vs. Corrective Lens Prescription29 Sep 2004 06:32 GMT3
Have been reading with some interest about this monovision solution to
wearing reading glasses or bifocals.  Generally, I understand how it
works and how the brain can make one eye compensate for distance and

solved by lens implants. My eyes finally got so bad tha I could no
longer focus sharply on the ground-glass screen of my SLR's.

Dear LarryDoc,
You ask for "proof" about the effect that a

I've been wearing contacts and glasses for the past 5 years for farsighted
