Hand Soap for use w/ contact lenses.15 Jun 2004 03:02 GMT6
Note: The soap's for washing my hands, not the lenses.
I've been using Dial Complete (foam dispensing) hand soap because it's
easier to rinse off residue from my hands ... but it does contain
perfume.

I'm currently taking a physiology course, and while reading one of the
required texts (Neuro 101 - Neurophysiology Without Tears By William
A. MacKay) I was shocked to read this:

Presbyopia with Laser-corrected Eyes14 Jun 2004 12:48 GMT14
I was born with near-sightedness and got glasses when I was 7. Finally, in
1999 at age 42, I had lasik eye corrective surgery. It was the best thing I
ever did. I corrected to 20/15 and I've been happy with my vision ever
since.....until about 4 months ago (February 2004).

double vision issues, how to correct12 Jun 2004 11:14 GMT42
My history is as follows, 33 male, vision perfect until mid 20's when
I started seeing double.  Each eye is 20 20 on its own.  My right eye
has objects appearing slightly below the left.  For example, when
reading a newspaper 2 feet away the text would appear about one line
Unisol 4 (by Alcon) questions12 Jun 2004 09:37 GMT1
I have sensitive eyes.  Rinsing the lense with Unisol 4 right before
putting them on has kept me safe for these years.  The problem is,
recently I am having trouble finding them in Wal-Mart or Target, where
they carried them for a reasonable price.  Does this mean Alcon has
Lenscrafters giving me the runaround, or is this true?11 Jun 2004 19:28 GMT5
Hey Gang,
I think I've seen questions like this on here before, but if I'm
fishing in the wrong pond let me know.
My Ophthalmologist checked my vision and gave me the following
Intraocular steroids11 Jun 2004 18:03 GMT7
I had a vitrectomy/lensectomy just over a year ago. About two months later,
cystoid macular edema developed, and I have been bothered by it ever since.
I have used anti-inflammatory drops during most of this period, but it keeps
coming back.

of material) with an AR coating but quoted me a price of around $300,

Any success stories for vision improvement?11 Jun 2004 16:01 GMT15
I was just wondering if anybody has any success stories from being
farsighted to 20/20 w/o glasses or laser surgery.  I would like to
know time duration and techiques or exercises done on a daily or
weekly basis.
AO Easy10 Jun 2004 22:39 GMT2
Yesterday I picked up a new pair of glasses. These were not exactly a
necessary purchase. Last year I got my first set of progressives (Varilux
Comfort) and after some initial problems settled in to them pretty well.
The frames I chose were Movado rimless, and I have gotten tired of ...
