Note: The soap's for washing my hands, not the lenses. I've been using Dial Complete (foam dispensing) hand soap because it's easier to rinse off residue from my hands ... but it does contain perfume.

I was born with near-sightedness and got glasses when I was 7. Finally, in 1999 at age 42, I had lasik eye corrective surgery. It was the best thing I ever did. I corrected to 20/15 and I've been happy with my vision ever since.....until about 4 months ago (February 2004).

I had a vitrectomy/lensectomy just over a year ago. About two months later, cystoid macular edema developed, and I have been bothered by it ever since. I have used anti-inflammatory drops during most of this period, but it keeps coming back.
