post "Bates Theory".  According to Dr.  Bates he did not

Cosmetic Contacts and driving25 Mar 2004 14:21 GMT1
I've been trying out some cosmetic contacts now that I can wear them
with ease...

In my country, we only have daily disposable soft contact with
base curve 8.6. What if my eyes have 8.2 and I wear them?  Also
does disposable really come with only one base curve?

light damage?24 Mar 2004 15:19 GMT3
If you stare straight ahead in a darkened room, and then take a
flashlight and aim it at your periphery  while waving it slightly, you
can see the blood vessels in your retina projected on the wall.
My question is:  can this harm your retina?  Over the past five years
Fluorescein angiography24 Mar 2004 03:02 GMT9
Anyone know if there is an alternative to Flourescein angiography? Like a CT

Povidone versus carboxymethylcellulose for dry eye23 Mar 2004 15:13 GMT7
I just read a paper in Eye and Contact Lens (January 2004 issue)
discussing the benefits of nonpreserved povidone-containing eyedrops
on contact lens wearers with computer-aggrevated eye symptoms such as
dryness.  I experience some of the symptoms described in the paper,
Acuvue Advance on the slopes23 Mar 2004 13:37 GMT6
The most rigorous test for any contact lens I have ever worn is on the ski
slopes of Utah.  The low humidity combined with the in-your-face blast of
cold mountain air combined with late winter Juniper pollen seems to spoil
every contact lens I have ever worn.  It seems that even ...
toric lenses can't correct astigmatism 20/20?23 Mar 2004 07:53 GMT1
For about 8 years, I wore Focus Toric soft contact lenses, but I
haven't worn them for the last 2 years. I just got a new prescription

them. The optometrist told me that because my astigmatism has gotten
getting Contacts RX23 Mar 2004 00:34 GMT12
Well, looks like I can't order contacts on line anymore without a current
rx. I just had my eyes examined for glasses and didn't want to pay the extra
cost for a contacts exam because I know what I wear. Seems you can't order
them online anymore without a current rx. Seems like a ...
pupils dilated with drops22 Mar 2004 16:28 GMT20
When a doctor puts drops in your eyes to dilate the pupils before
examination, do they always dilate to the same extent? I had always
assumed that everyone's eyes dilated completely. Is this not the case?
