Restasis and post-lasik04 Feb 2004 16:10 GMT31
I know many people say Restasis isn't for post-lasik dry eyes, but my
case is a little different.
I had mildly dry eyes before my Lasik 1 1/2 years ago.  My Dr. put
some lower punctal plugs in.
Desperately trying to remove Focus Dailies03 Feb 2004 03:34 GMT3
Help! I have once posted on this forum on ways to remove the extremely
slippery Focus Dailies. I have tried all the methods and the contact lens is
now still stuck in my eyes. How?
Could this be?03 Feb 2004 03:30 GMT4
I've been wearing soft toric lenses for many years (with an Rx of
approx. -10 in both eyes).  As a result of my Rx, the contacts aren't
as flexible as other soft lenses I've seen, but I think they are more
tear resistant because of this also.  Yesterday when I started rubbing
One more question about progressive/transitions and ultra-violet protective coating03 Feb 2004 03:26 GMT3
I just asked, in another post, about getting all of this stuff
together.  Someone just posted something that brings another question
to mind: Does it make any sense to get the ultra-violet protective
coating and transitions, too?  Will that coating prevent the
Effects of wearing glasses that are somewhat too weak02 Feb 2004 02:01 GMT3
What's the current wisdom on the long-term effects of using glasses or
contacts that aren't strong enough?  I ask because I switched to

tint, 123 indicator, and UV blockers built in.  Apparently it does not

beeing a contact lense user for years, the first thing I noticed with the
glasses was the extreme barrel distortion.
My optician adjusted the glasses and this made them a tad better...but the

Trying to find good source for replacement lenses for my old eyeglass frames....01 Feb 2004 00:36 GMT4
My most recent experience with the opthalmologist I had been with for
several years has made me realize that I need to move on.  In
September I spent over $300 on some Fendi frames for my new
prescription.  It was only that cheap because my vision insurance paid
