Eye exercise device - near/far lenses.  Where can I purchase?31 Jan 2004 20:05 GMT8
Long ago, my eye doctor put me thru vision therapy.  One of the things

mono vision31 Jan 2004 15:44 GMT4
Is there a limit to mono vision.  I have had mono vision for years.  I can
remember thinking what a crackpot idea it seemed when it was first suggested
to me and could not believe how well it worked.  That was then.  Over the
years my eyesight has gotten progressively worse.  My ...

Hi...
I started the Atkins diet first of this year, and for the last two
weeks or so, I've started to see floaters.  They're mainly apparent
when working on the computer and I'm looking at a bright screen.
Floaters, age and vitrectomy31 Jan 2004 05:36 GMT25
I know there are tons of floater questions, but I've not been able to find
the answer to this:  vitreous breakdown/separation is noted as 'normal with
age'.  What sort of 'age' are we talking about?  I began developing floaters
(primarily strings, sometimes large) in my mid-20s and ...
transition lens problems?31 Jan 2004 03:52 GMT3
I am buying new glasses soon and am considering the transition lenses that
autodarken in bright light. I have been told that they do not work in the
car, but are there any other negatives I should know about? I have a very
strong prescription and will get progressive bifocals in ...

Maybe Rishi is right30 Jan 2004 05:09 GMT4
It may be possible to cure low myopia with rest methods. We should check this
out. Nobody wants to wear glasses or contact lenses. The bates book is on the
internet. I tried really hard. I closed my eyes. Then I did the palming thing.
Then I moved my head gently. When I opened my ...
How to Contact the Italian Police Regarding Internet Abuse30 Jan 2004 05:00 GMT2
Dear fellow sci.med.vision members,
I have recently been in touch with the Italian Consulate in New York and the
Italian Embassy in Washington, DC. They have told me that in Italy they do
indeed take cases of internet abuse very seriously, whether individual ISPs

My son was diagnosed with Amblyopia in both eyes.  I have read a lot

Flexon Frames29 Jan 2004 17:48 GMT1
I have a very old pair of these and just bought my second pair.
Out of curiosity - what are they made of?
They seem to be the most durable frames I have ever worn.
Are they overpriced?
