Caffeine, nicotine connection25 Feb 2007 05:56 GMT6
I stopped caffeine and nicotine for 24 hours and my tinnitus lowered by
about 20%.  I also felt like a zombie , almost in a coma , which was more
unacceptable than having the annoying ringing in my head.  Does anyone know
how to get rid of the Zombie like feeling while trying to ...

I'm new here. I've had tinnitus for many years, but in the last month
the intensity of the ringing has increased. This has happened before,
but never hung on so long. Is it hopeless?

Fire crackers exacerbate my tinnitus!21 Feb 2007 04:01 GMT1
China is celebrating its new year or the year of the pig.  During this
festival, a lot of fire crackers have been set off.  The randomly

indiscriminately, from the windows, the balconies and side streets.
The Sound of the Cosmos21 Feb 2007 03:19 GMT5
Sometimes a good "reframe" is as helpful as anything else.
A few years ago, I wrote an article that was published in a local
paper. It was essentially a coming to terms with T.
In some circles, we read about a universal Sound. Mystics try to
Humming in Head21 Feb 2007 01:53 GMT3
Hi -  I have a constant roar in my right ear - which is vascular so if I
turn my head in a certain position it will gradually stop.
In my left ear I occasionally get a loud ringing which is terribly annoying
but then it stops and goes away for days.

Generally is it better to just try and put up with it or is there any value
