Yesterday I woke up with a quiet noise coming from my left ear (It
sounded rather like a computer fan). Later that the night the noise
disappeared and from my right ear I was getting a 1/2 second echo from it.
Today my left ear is fine but now the right ear has a humming noise

I used to run a succesful group in the Hamilton, Ontario area but
folded it about 4 years ago for personal reasons. From time to time I
still get telephone calls and there really is a need for a group,
isn't there. Besides,  for lack of a better word I do miss the

Very occasionally, I have a loud roaring 'white noise' sound which
comes around suddenly whilst in a state of sleep or semi sleep ,  The
intensity is what I consider overwhelming and extreme with both Ears

hello all...I am new here. I have had tinnitus off and on since I was a
kid. About 3-4 years ago it became constant. It was not so bad that I
couldnt tune it out. However, in the past 6-9 mos or so it has become
louder and louder.
