Some have discounted accupuncture as voodoo and not an effective treatment
for tinnitus.  In this study, there were two groups.  One group had needles
put targeting areas thought to impact tinnitus.  The other group had
needles, but in areas thought not to impact tinnitus.  ...

I have been reading about a a protozoal parasite named Encephalitozoon
cuniculi that can infect rabbits, dogs, other animals and humans. It
infects the central nervous system and brain. I am very curious if it
has been found to cause tinnitus in humans or if any other know

Has anyone here ever gotten tinnitus from subtle low volume sounds such
as the high pitched whine from a computer monitor?
I'm using an NEC Multisync LCD 1860NX monitor, and the thing has this
constant incessant high pitched whine.  As soon as I turn it off my

I have  some sacarring showing up on an MRI in the hypothalmus area.
GP said this would not cause tinnitus.
Neoro. said he didnt know when this scarring would have occurred.
Ive had T badly since an assult a year ago.

Sitting here using a tape with white noise to try to stop me banging
my head off the wall. I am demented by the white noise and pulsatile
tinnitus. I'm already very disabled and this is just about the last

few hours. when I saw Tool in June, the ringing wouldnt go away. So now when
I go to bed there's a noise in my ear.
I know I messed up by not wearing any protection, but I'm seeing this band
