Learned to live with it.31 Oct 2006 23:05 GMT8
I just feel obligated to post something like this once in a while. I
contracted tinnitus suddenly 04/19/05. Like most, I tried to figure out
how to "cure" it or at least decrease it. Experimented with this and
that. Tried to figure out why it came and went. What aggravated it from
Tinnitus and Jaw Movement26 Oct 2006 07:45 GMT5
My T gets louder with jaw movement or when I yawn.  I felt that this could
be TMJ related. On the questionaire in the office,I could relate to a lot of
the questions.  The nurse said there that of the people who had T and were
cured by TMJ type of treatments, they tended to have ...

Head movement and T21 Oct 2006 14:21 GMT1

Strange Accident Created a New Cure For TMJ20 Oct 2006 22:47 GMT6
Simply close your mouth and act like you are chewing gum. Chew like
this for a minute or so at a time.
To do the exercise right make sure your molars on both sides move apart
a little, and then touch lightly again. Also notice that your lips are

Progressively louder T with hand pressure on head and neck and even on a soft pillow?08 Oct 2006 21:24 GMT2
5 months of T and the worst is upon awakening from a night sleep OR
just a nap, it is synchronous and pulsitile to my heat pulse and very
scary, it minimizes upon awakening and up off the bed. Does anyone have
the T when your pressing on the neck or face or head or upper teeth
Is the rebellion starting?  Lookout anti's06 Oct 2006 01:22 GMT5
Smokers United ~
Smokers have been victimized by an orchestrated, well-funded plan to make
the world free of tobacco. The only way that could be accomplished was to
make smoking "socially unacceptable." When we didn't respond to their rants
Klonopin for Tinnitus????04 Oct 2006 12:37 GMT7
I am really beginning to wonder about my Doctor and his attitude about
this.  From what I've read the 'noise' usually decreases in loud
situations.  Mine gets louder and responds to quiet situations.  The
'noise' also seems to increase when I an talking.  Sounds pretty weird
tinnitus with pain in the ear04 Oct 2006 04:57 GMT10
I have T in my left ear since 2003. Several times I can feel a kind of
pressure on the timpan of the same ear, which produces a little pain.
What does it mean? Could this fact help me to find out the cause of my
tinnitus?
Aspirin and Ibuprofen01 Oct 2006 21:21 GMT9
If aspirin and ibuprofen (as I understand it) tend to increase tinnitus,
what would be a substitute inflamation reducer and pain reliever, maybe
tylenol?  I understand tylenol does not relieve inflamation but is only a
satisfactory pain reliever.
