Here is a selection of links to tinnitus simulators that I gleaned

they still work.

Relief from Tinnitus29 Aug 2006 14:30 GMT9
About a month ago, I went on a trip for work.  I worked 7 16 hour days in a
row.  I was overwhelmed in work.  Since I came back, I'm still very busy,
but not like those 7 days.  Anyways, my T has gotten much better, despite
increased stress in my life and less sleep.  Does this ...

Pulsatile tinnnitus, two-week onset.  Advice needed28 Aug 2006 13:52 GMT14
First, a brief timeline:
Four weeks ago, went wakeboarding.  As I am not the best boarder in the

dizzy after this and sat out for the rest of the afternoon, but then
New to group. T for at least a couple of years27 Aug 2006 17:54 GMT4
This is my first post, but I've been lurking here on and off for a
couple of months now. I have had tinnitus for at least a couple of years
now. The ringing is really starting to be a major problem. It's starting
to interfere with my work and recent promotion.

I've had tinnitus for 1/2 maybe 3/4s of a year and it's got worse in
roughly the last month, so I finally went to see my doctor about it.
He's had me do an audiogram (played various tones via headphones with
increasing volume until I say I can hear it). Audiogram fine. Also took
Tinnitus Panic Attack24 Aug 2006 00:49 GMT33
Last night I has a sort of panic attack.  I felt really hot and had nausea
in my stomach.  My T has been worse for the last 4 days, and I guess I just
worried that it would never get better.  It still hasn't.
I tried to calm myself.  I though "I will not be afraid.".  But the T ...
Tooth filling and tinnitus23 Aug 2006 04:58 GMT48
Last Friday, i went to a dental clinic to have the filling of a tooth
done.  The tooth is the last one on the upper right side side.  Once
the old filling was cleaned out completely, my ears were dead silent!
I even asked to leave the dental armchair and went into the washroom to
Tinnitus Seminar Audio Download for Tinnitus Sufferers22 Aug 2006 22:08 GMT36
Our story was featured in June's issue of Tinnitus Today published by
the American Tinnitus Association.  We recieved a slew of letters and
emails from Tinnitus sufferers and their spouses who related to that
story.  I've posted it on our tinnitus blog at
BETAHISTINE and FLUNARIZINE HYDROCHLORIDE20 Aug 2006 06:39 GMT19
lately I have read about the symptoms suffered by T patients in the
form of roaring sound at the middle of the night.  I went through that

i was asleep, woke me up at mig-night and prevented me from sleeping

I've had tinnitus for several years, on and off, it comes and goes, and now
it comes!  Is this a pattern?   Anyone?
Are there any treatments available?  My doc. says not, also that he knew
someone (or a paper he'd read) where a person had their ?? nerve cut but
newsgroup archive, including no-archive posts18 Aug 2006 02:37 GMT7
Stumbled across a site that archives this group.  It seems to go back
3-4 months.  I'm not sure if this is when the website commenced ops or
it's a configured retention period.  The website seems like its running
a turnkey newsgroup archive program. Kinda bare. No search feature,

I have had ringing at a low level for some time, but these pastfew months
