Re; Re; Four months or torment from pulsatile tinnitus13 Jun 2006 03:45 GMT42
Well Elly, you're right. Telling me to "live with it" doesn't strike me as
very "helpful." But just having someone else to discuss this with is better
than dealing with it on my own. Certainly the medical profession has done
nothing to help, nor (in my opinion) have they even ...

I recently got a bad ringing in one ear, whitout apparent cause
(i rarely hear loud music and I am only twenty, althought I admit I
don't know much about causes. I  certainly am under stress, but not
more than usual)

Pulsative Tinnitus and Pharyngotymparic Tube05 Jun 2006 12:22 GMT2
I hope I slept this word correctly.
I went to visit my ENT doctor today for my gum.  At the same time I
asked him what causes pulsative tinnitus.  That is, the T patient hears
heart beats in his ear all the time.  I asked this question on behalf
What works for me04 Jun 2006 23:08 GMT9
I rarely post ANYTHING on the Internet.  However, I have found relief from
my tinnitus and wanted to share with you.
About 8 years ago, I had a virus which seemed to go in to my inner ear.
This virus lasted about 6 weeks, and included bad bouts of vertigo.  After
Hot Spring and Tinnitus04 Jun 2006 23:03 GMT26
I visited my friendly ENT doctor in China today and talked about my T
experiences and findings from various patients in this ng.  A visit to
the state hospital where he is working costs US$ONE and the waiting
time was about 10 minutes.  So it was worth the time spent.
Chiropractor and Tinnitus03 Jun 2006 21:19 GMT2
I had a 15 kHz tinnitus in my right ear that never went away, and a metallic
softer tone in my left ear.  I noticed that the metallic sound got worse
when I yawned.  Now I notice that the 15 kHz tinnitus gets worse when I push
my lower jaw forward.
Four months of torment from pulatile tinnitus03 Jun 2006 21:17 GMT6
I went through a very stressful period about four months ago. My blood
pressure skyrocketed to 170/100 and was probably higher. Since then I've had
pulsatile tinnitus in my left ear and a lot of tension in my neck. I take
several Alleve every day for the pain, and the tinnitus is ...

I'm new to the group so hello all. I've been suffering from a stuffed
feeling in my ears after listening to something loud even after about 5
minutes or so. The weird thing is it actually seems to be like a
'stuffed' ear b/c I can pop it clear like if I had a cold. I'm a
