I'm a dope!30 Apr 2006 21:18 GMT6
So last weekend, I'm watching a program on TV - a call in show where a
doctor is there to answer the callers questions. Its a legitimite show
in that the doctor is not trying to sell anything. A person calls in and
says they have tinnitus and the doctor first indicates that there ...

friend.), and have seen first hand how debilitating it can be.

Happy anniversary to my T and me!21 Apr 2006 00:55 GMT8
It was the evening of April 19, 2005 when I first contracted tinnitus.
I was sitting on the couch watching television, when something
"popped" in my head, like when your ears pop after an altitude
drop, but different somehow. Then my ears started ringing. I knew
Arches / Ginko results18 Apr 2006 16:29 GMT6
I posted back in January that I was a new member, and about to try the
Arches Tinnitus formula, which has a Ginko Biloba component.   That was
about 6 weeks ago.
Apparently, Ginko can have some side effects, like headaches, and
Tinnitus from a slap on the ear.17 Apr 2006 15:21 GMT8
I have got a high pitch tinnitus from a slap that I have got on the
ear a month ago. It sounds like 15KHz or higher pitch sound,
like:sssssssssssss. It is just on that ear that got the slap. I went to
a doctor who gave me 'Betahistine HCI', and he told me to take it for a
Worsening Tinnitus14 Apr 2006 10:43 GMT13
This is my first post to this group mostly because the tinnitus I've had
for years has become worse in the last month or so. The sound I
experience is ( and I know I'm aging myself with this comparison } what
you used to hear on the old TV test patterns before the station went on ...
Simple Blood Tests13 Apr 2006 01:18 GMT1
I sometimes wonder what kind of reports would come out of  a database
fed by a lot of T sufferers?.  What if a large number of people with T
(or any other mysterious, incurable disease) would complete a lengthy
online questionaire, using an anonymous screen name of course. The

Sharing my story10 Apr 2006 21:29 GMT21
Just wanted to share my story. It happens intermittently since 2003 but
this time time round, it stuck around much longer.
a) The first thing I did was to undergo an agonizing MRI session. I
would think that these machines would be quiet as a church mouse ,
Wooshing Sound09 Apr 2006 17:47 GMT15
Wasn't sure where to post this...but since I have T I figured i'd try
here.
This is weird.  My right ear, whenever I press up right on the bottom
of it and push up, I get this wooshing sound like air is being pushed
TRT effective? Ginkgo effective?09 Apr 2006 07:30 GMT22
I have looked in the archives of this group to try to determine whether
Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and/or Ginkgo can be effective. All I found
was nasty charges and countercharges from people with a money interest
in tinnitus.
