Pillows?22 Aug 2005 17:36 GMT3
Although I am, for my "sins", enjoying a peaceful day, without even lying
down this morning, I wondered if a decent pillow might help me, and my T
then not be noisy when I awake?    I normally sleep on two latex pillows,
and sleep well, and don't really like being too flat on the ...
Music and relaxation exercises to cure tinnitus22 Aug 2005 10:59 GMT49
A new study out of Heidelberg, Germany, shows that music therapy and relaxation
exercises will cure tinnitus.  80% of the people who participated stopped
hearing the signal.  It was brought out in this report that the causes of
tinnitus had up to now not been well understood, but ...
FLUNARIZINE HYDROCHLORIDE21 Aug 2005 00:56 GMT5
This medicine gave me back my sleep during the onset of my tinnitus
about a year and half ago when my t screamed at me from the centre of
my brain.

Exploring the link between TMJ and Tinnitus19 Aug 2005 21:12 GMT9
I'm 31 and have had tinnitus for about 9 months. It was initially very
quiet, but now quite loud and annoying and has markedly increased in
the last month or two. I don't work in an occupation that exposes me to
noise and when I used to I would always wear hearing protection. I

Day 618 Aug 2005 21:47 GMT4
Okay, I promise not to post unless I fail in future!  I am getting really
good at experimenting now - in fact, I am an expert now :-)  My T went quiet
after a 20 minute lie-down, and is quiet as I type. This is all SO weird!

Yet another tinnitus sufferer posts17 Aug 2005 02:07 GMT6
I'm 39, and a little less than a year ago I started suffering from tinnitus.
Slightly stronger in the right ear then the left, but overall, it seems more
central than specific to either ear.   It comes and goes, maybe 6 times a
day, sometimes a lot louder than others.
tinnitus and hyperacusis down as a result of binge drinking and..17 Aug 2005 02:05 GMT3
I was reading up on the effect of vaso-dilatatory medicines and their
use in china and at the university of Genova to treat T.
Since I have been a heavy drinker in the past (but not in recent years)
It was no problem for me getting into a week of daily binge drinking.
Adrenal fatigue and tinnitus17 Aug 2005 01:29 GMT7
The following is an article that talks about tinnitus being one of the
disorders that could take place in the face of an 'adrenal fatigue':

2nd day 16 Aug 2005 21:51 GMT24
I have repeated my "exercise" again this morning.  I was a bit later and
still tried lying on my left side, and although it probably took 20 minutes
for the T to vanish - vanish it did again!   I was lying in bed at around
9.50 a.m. feeling in desperate need of my brekkie LOL so I ...
TRT16 Aug 2005 09:54 GMT2
I have T + hearing loss in my right ear and my audiologist has
recommended that I do TRT. I generally understand the nature of brain
plasticity and habituation but I would be a stronger believer in TRT if
it had some more solid scientific backing. All that I've read has been
