I had 3 hyperbaric oxygen sessions on my 5th week with tinnitus, and had to stop it because it made it worse (actually doubled it). So, if your tinnitus is old and you wish you had hyperbaric oxygen while it was still young, just don't. It might have made it worse than it is

I have been reading up on tinnitus, and thinking about my own case. It seems to me that the origin of the ringing is nervous, having to do with the nervous system, I mean. I have never studied the nervous system, but I understand that nerves

I have had an outburst of tinnitus in the last 20 days, the last few being noticeably dramatic. My backround is that I spent years wearing headphones for music related reasons, and have had short bursts of tinnitus that never created real

My T is really been aggravated lately. First, I played a gig with my band and even though I wore plugs, I now have a new and louder T level. Now I have to deal with all the tractors/trucks right next to my house digging up for sewers and new housing developments. It's very loud

I've been using a Neti Pot for the past couple of weeks (it helps clean out sinuses) and it seems to have reduced my tinnitus. Anyone else tried one? -Scrinine

I had been quite active on this newsgroup for a number of years, ran a support group and all kinds of tinnitus related activities. Things got kinda too much and two years ago this month I dropped out of sight, totally disconnected myself from the wild and wonderful world of tee.

is a device that's supposed to keep people from grinding their teeth when they sleep. Since there seems that there might be a connection between T and tension and jaw motions, I'm tempted to do the experiment.

Day 5 on cipro, woke up with my ears screaming! Stopped immediately. Ironic, it came out of the blue. The last two days were really good.... I just found out cipro is made of quinine. I can't believe this is on no ototoxic lists!!!
