Sleeping WITHOUT a pillow21 Oct 2004 19:00 GMT5

Witchcraft20 Oct 2004 20:20 GMT8
_Sound masking_ is now considered one of the better techniques to
treat tinnitus.  But sound masking could have started out as what
might have been interpreted by the simple folks of the modern world as
a 'witchcraft' and might have been placed on the list of
Meniere and Tinnitus20 Oct 2004 05:21 GMT2
I just learned of a capsule sometimes prescribed for vertigo and tinnitus.
From what I have read it seemd to help. I still haven't asked my doctor, but
I am curious to know if any of you have heard of it. It is called
LIPOFLAVONOIDE. I think it is an OTC.
Learn from History19 Oct 2004 19:21 GMT7
Long ago we learned here that the best asnwer for those who use profanity or
insults was to ignore them and above all, NEVER answer them.
Since this worked so well in the past, suggest you use it again. Do not answer
ro reply to those who use profanity or insults, period.  With no ...
My next clinical trial19 Oct 2004 18:21 GMT8
The next clinical trial I 'might' attempt, as a means of achieving
'all' good days in a week, is to take herbs from a formula given by

Traditional ? Alternative? Conventional?19 Oct 2004 05:08 GMT3
All these arguments are like which car goes faster, the red one or the blue

all the doctor ( and the patient too) cares about - does the thing work and can
it be proven to work?

Can someone please tell me what treatment there is available for TMJ?
My T has been really bad for the last month or so, and now I ( and others)
can noticably feel how bulging my tmj is on the T affected side...I had an
Xray for tmj once and it showed nothing, but the naturopath ...
Ear protection question for some of you!17 Oct 2004 23:28 GMT1
I know that my T was caused by exposure to excessive noise levels, and has
also worsened by even further accidental exposure to the same. I, therefore,
have to take very serious steps to avoid any further damage to the cells in
the inner ear. One form of protection I have are my ...

Kidney and Cochlea16 Oct 2004 04:51 GMT17
Months ago when I brought up the idea that the traditional Chinese
medical practioners have been pointing, for _thousands of years_, to
the close connection between kidney and cochlea as *one* of the areas
where the cause of tinnitus could be found, I was ridiculed by the
Book re hearing and psychology by French author, anybody know the title?15 Oct 2004 21:28 GMT1
Several years ago I came across a book written by a French author that
described a strong link between hearing problems such as tinnitus and
psychological factors.  He described cases where tinnitus was resolved
by resolving psychological conflicts.  I cannot remember the title or
