I stayed in China for about 8 months. During which time, I tried everything but never allowed the shiny needles to get near me. A couple of weeks ago, my daugher introduced me to a _registered_ accupuncturist here in the beautiful province of British Columbia.

I have had tinnitus for about two years. I woke up one day and there it was. It sounds like a low pitched cricket sound. It bothers me only in the evening when I go to bed. I Have to have the radio going all evening to drown out the sound.

I have in a week 4 good days and 3 bad days. A bad day is characterized by T sound reminiscient of electrical discharge and faster heart beat. Is there anything that could be done about it aside from habituation?

I have noticed when ever it is really Hot, and Humid, my T is noticebly quiet. As soon as it gets cooler my T gets louder. Anything to this, maybe Barometric Pressure, or something? Thanks!! ;-)

Well, I have never had this before. My t is rather noticeable today with the low pressure system in my area. But, now I have a thumping sound as well. Off and on....not constant. What's causing this? It doesn't change the T...just feels weird.

Just curious how many of you are wearing hearing aids and who also have tinnitus. Would love to know how many of you find that the hearing aids affect your tinnitus in any way? I.E.----does your tinnitus become softer or louder?
