Does Ginkgo Biloba help?28 Jul 2004 02:38 GMT80
There are all sorts of naked oil pushers in the world. Ideologies,
religions...etc could also contain 'naked oil' elements.  But the more

The relevance of a controlled study.28 Jul 2004 02:36 GMT7
If anyone refuses to try a treatment for tinnitus unless it is a
proven success through a controlled study, then welcome to the world
of aprazolam.  I once tried that(Ativan) and it successfully turned me
into a drug addict.  It was a condition from which I was almost unable

Can Statins cause Tinnitus?26 Jul 2004 22:47 GMT6
This is a question from someone who developed tinnitus just a few weeks
ago and is having a very difficult time adjusting to the noise.  I've seen
an ENT consultant and he has pretty much told me that I have to learn to
live with it but I'm not ready to do that yet so I'm ...

I havent posted in quite a while! I have had tinnitus since 1992 and
have finally learned to live with it and get on with things. However
something new has popped up. In 2002 I developed, right before
bedtime, vertigo. The room was spinning. Never having this before, I
Three times this month26 Jul 2004 04:28 GMT4
Well... I've just returned from the hospital, yet again. It's 12:00am. My T
increased around 8:30 tonight and soon after that, it increased again, then
stabbing chest pains. These chest pains occur in the matter of a snap of a
finger, but after a while my chest begins to ache and I ...

Inner Ear Fluid23 Jul 2004 04:32 GMT5
I read somewhere that there is a huge number of factors that could
affect the secretion of inner ear fluid.
Amongst these include:(1)emotion and (2)neck tension.
I know a lady around here who all of a sudden lost her hearing after

Ginkgo Biloba21 Jul 2004 21:47 GMT24
Been a tinnitus sufferer for about 7 months, and usually get 2 to 4 'on'
days per week.  It's the hissing type.  Then recently an anaesthetist friend
said she'd been reading something about trials with ginkgo biloba for
tinnitus, and had I tried it?  No, I said, but I certainly will ...

Any Idea?20 Jul 2004 03:59 GMT44
Numerous liternatures talk about Meniere disease as being
characterized by the over-pressure of the inner ear, amongst the other
symptoms.  I have rarely experienced the pressure in my ear but each
morning I feel that on the left side of my head(inside the brain).
Artificial Sweeteners and Tinnitus19 Jul 2004 06:05 GMT2
Since I developed tinnitus in May of this year, I've read a lot of
information that's available on the Internet, none of it very encouraging,
unfortunately.  Just recently, I've seen many reports suggesting that
artificial sweeteners could be a culprit when it comes to tinnitus (and
