Why have to look so far?31 May 2004 06:08 GMT3
I think the US participants in ALT are truly lucky to be in the
vicinity of a number of _licensed_ US doctors in this ng.  These
doctors have been listening to the description of T symptoms from T
suffers all over the world, from which they have derived a reservoir

I woke up at 1:30am on Monday morning this week with a sound in my head that
reminds me of crickets, I have had it ever since with no break in the sound.
I went to the doctor and he said wait a week, I am due to go back tomorrow
for another check-up. Everything I have read indicates ...
My experience with low level laser treatments at Daytona Beach: Advanced Energy Medicine30 May 2004 23:10 GMT10
It was the early morning hours, the latter part of April 2003, and I
was beside myself, well beyond normal suffering due to the incessant
ringing, chirping, tapping, and wind-like sounds coming from inside my
head.  Nothing
The exact definition of Meniere disease?30 May 2004 06:35 GMT8
My ENT doctorS where I am are of the firm view that in order to be

Something has worked for me!30 May 2004 04:34 GMT5
I suffer from Tinnitus.  Yesterday, I ate a bowl of brown rice.
Something I never do.  I did not do it for the Tinnitus.  About 15

There are several things you can do for tinnitus: Ask your doctor for a
prescription for one of the serotonin re-uptake inhibiters, e.g. Prozac,
etc. ( the best one with the least side effects is celexa). Talk to an
audiologist about getting a noise generator (masking device). This ...

vloume of sound diminishes as you move away from the sound source? I think if
persons understood the amount of energy the speakers generate and how it
diminishes in space there would be less persons with ...

Hello all, long time lurker, first time yadda yadda :)  I've suffered
Tinnitus for about the last 20 years, and I've been at the point of
not noticing it (though it's always been there) for at least the last
18 years or so.
Is  hearing loss the whole explanation?25 May 2004 05:48 GMT4
For the last few years I've complained about tinnitus and been told the
standard, stop coffee, lower salt etc.  None of these have done much for
me and my experience has been that weather has the greatest impact.
However, when I see an ENT, they do a hearing test and they do ...
Help with Ulta Quiet masking device25 May 2004 05:42 GMT19
First, let me get the disclaimers out of the way - I am not associated with
the manufacturer of the Ultra Quiet in any way whatsoever.
I've had a bilateral tinnitus for about 6 months.  It's a constant intrusive
(sometimes VERY intrusive) ~6 KHz tone.  My audiogram shows a ...
