frequencies >5500Hz started after a scuba dive.
The initial diagnosis is that I had serous otitis media... I just met with
another ENT today who looked at the audiogram from my previous visit with a
Learning to identify the cause of tinnitus30 Apr 2004 08:53 GMT4
I ran into the website of T-Gone and discovered that T-7 cause might
be the cause of my tinnitus and I did that by way of listening to the
kinds of sound which my T produces.

Does Tinnitus ever subside completely for anyone on this website?28 Apr 2004 07:47 GMT3
I don't know what brings on the peak tinnitus episodes, but sometimes I think
it is anxiety, but it can be very loud even when I don't have anything to be
anxious about.  Sometimes, loud music at the movies or concerts can leave me in
a state of loud tinnitus, sometimes not.  When a ...
Can knowing the finer details of my tinnitus lead to a cure?27 Apr 2004 04:19 GMT4
I am a first time poster:  tinnitus for 6 weeks, high pitch "dog
whistle" to "crickets" in pitch. Both ears. No known trauma.
Hearing loss at high freq found by ENT, therefore verdict of typical
tinnitus due to some hearing loss.
Tinnitus could be a mental ill.27 Apr 2004 03:57 GMT13
If you had exhausted your ENT specialists and GPs, the next group of
doctors you may want to visit is the ones in the department of
neurology.  The root of your T could be in the nerve and has nothing
to do with your inner ear.
Tinnitus and headackes26 Apr 2004 02:08 GMT10
The Tinnitus is causing bad headackes... The bad headackes causes a sick
stomach..  The OTC meds don't work...

Cleaning ear, can't hear25 Apr 2004 05:47 GMT2
Iam hoping someone can point me to the right group or maybe have an
answer for me.  I was cleaning my ear with a cotton swab and I think I
went a little to far.  Now I can't hear from that ear.  I might have
pushed the ear wax in to  far or maybe I damaged my eardrums.  There

I have been suffering from Tinnitus for at least 5 years that I am
aware. Being in the NY-NJ-CT area masks it because it's so noisy that
you don't even know that you have the start of something awful. I
haven't posted in over 2 years because I left this group looking at

I'm puzzled21 Apr 2004 05:54 GMT5
Why do these creeps flood the newsgroups daily with their offer of nude
pictures of celebrities?
Is it to catch your e mail address and sell it ?
Is it to ask for money to sell the pictures?
