I am new to this list. I've had tinnitus for about 4 years caused by
repeated exposure
to loud noise. The tinnitus seems to be getting louder every year. I haven't
seen any
Citalopram/Cipramil side effect: tinnitus -- does it go away?17 Mar 2004 12:10 GMT2
I started taking citalopram / Cipramil a week ago, and apart from all
sorts on non-nice side-effects I found that my tinnitus has defintely
gone "louder", i.e. worse.
My questions:
Dyazide/Triamterene17 Mar 2004 03:50 GMT5
I've had mild T for many years, but the last month and esp. the
last two weeks I can't even read for very long because the high
pitched sound is so loud. My doc prescribed dyazide (triamterene).
After I got home, I checked on it, and it's not one of the meds
Can antibiotics cause permanent tinnitus?16 Mar 2004 19:29 GMT5
I got an ear infection and was prescribed some antibiotics to clear it up.
My hearing after this was still as bad as it was before so I went back to
the doctor and he said the infection had cleared up but that I had a lot of
wax and to use ear drops, which I started doing yesterday. ...
Sleeping with Tinnitus16 Mar 2004 07:22 GMT2
This subject has probably been discussed here before, but I am wondering if
anybody has any suggestions. I find it difficult to fall asleep, I am not sure if
it is the tinnitus or me thinking about the tinnitus (although I think it is the
   tinnitus). I usually have ...
Passion of the Christ13 Mar 2004 01:53 GMT33
I just went to see Passion of the Christ.  Was that Nagler's hand
holding the hammer were the nails were being driven into Jesus' hands
& feet?  I'm pretty sure it was.  If it wasn't him it had to be a
direct relative of his.
Pattern found13 Mar 2004 00:44 GMT6
I've been getting intermittent tinnitus for about 3 months.  It takes the
form of a hissing, like a gas escape, usually in the left, but sometimes in
both ears.  If it WAS escaping gas I would describe it as appearing to
originate from behind me somewhere.
A 90 percent improvement achieved12 Mar 2004 20:28 GMT5
I have posted this information on my Bulletin Board (3/11/04).  You will have to go to www.cedarpost.com and enter there.  This may be old information for some, but is new to me.  If you or someone you know suffers from Tinnitus, I think you will find this worth reading.
Tinnitis as cause of weight loss12 Mar 2004 18:58 GMT6
As my tinnitis gets worse I find I am losing weight. I think it's
because I'm constantly running to answer the door or telephone. Any idea
where I can get a custom ring tone for my tinnitis? :=)

Inflammation and Tinnitus10 Mar 2004 18:15 GMT11
I'm fighting an ongoing battle with my tinnitus and have been steady
at it for about a year and a half. I've reduced my primary battle
strategy to fighting inflammation..in my ears, on my skin and anywhere
and every where I can on my body.
Why is it so difficult to find the cause of our T?10 Mar 2004 11:46 GMT3
My answer is that most doctors don;t have the time for us.
What is yours?

How useful is DUXARIL?09 Mar 2004 08:48 GMT2
I have been taking these pills for the past few months.  Instead of
taking 2 a day, i take one after dinner.  The doctor says that 70% of
the users of this drug experience improvement in 3 months.  I wonder
if anyone has experience with this.
