I haven't posted for a while, but I started having bleeding sinuses a
few days ago.  Then I had a feeling of uncomfortable fullness in my
right ear today and was told the pollen count was very high for the
first time all year.  Then I finally sneezed and my sinuses seemed to
Meds for Tinnitus31 Mar 2004 21:11 GMT2
My doctor prescribed triamterene/dyazide for my tinnitus,
but after two weeks, not much difference.
I woke up a couple of days ago with a stiff neck, my
tinnitus was particularly loud, and I took some old
Tinnitus From Headphone Use31 Mar 2004 00:18 GMT12
I've recently acquired the dreaded ringing after some hefty home
recording sessions. Last week I was using some closed headphones for
feeback and doing multiple takes. It's strange because it didn't seem
that loud and I'm always very cautious about volume levels but I was
My ear is plugged, again. But why?30 Mar 2004 07:38 GMT6
The other day I was extremely sleepy and half asleep, half awake. My
ear was bothering me and I tried to clean it with a q-tip. When I
stuck the q-tip in to a certain point, my ear plugged up. It was like
the q-tip touched something and that caused the ear to plug up. It

Terri, I signed up for ezboards for the moderated tinnitus groups, but
they don't seem to recognize me eventhough I'm now registered.  Is
there a trick to them?  I log in and try to access them and they say I
need an account, so if I click on the button they provide to register
What is your average age?29 Mar 2004 06:39 GMT15
I'm only 32 and came here today because I have an ocean/waves sound in
my left ear. I have a lot of the other symptoms that can cause this
like the teeth grinding at nite, jaw popping, stiff neck. The "ocean"
goes away when I relax in a sitting position but any small movement of

Has anyone had experience with treatment in the minneapolis, minnesota
area? I am just starting to look into this as a treatment, and although
many have said it doesn't work, am willing to give it a try and would
like to know of someone that is reputable in this area. Actually, I ...

Loud music causes ear pain?28 Mar 2004 00:19 GMT7
I have been having tinnitus for as long as I can remember. For the
last 1.5 year or so I also have the problem that listening to music
causes pain in my left ear.... and it doesn't even have to be very
loud for that. Especially headphones are strictly out of limits for
Why are the American Jews so anti-semitic?23 Mar 2004 23:00 GMT7
Money, control of the oil supplies.
What else could cause the money holders in the good ole' USA to enter
a semitic country, terrorize and murder any of the resisting people
under the excuse of terrorist elimination, never to find any weapons
Tinnitus, with Vertigo?22 Mar 2004 20:44 GMT3
I have had Tinnitus in my left ear for some time now. The other day I
had a terrible bought of Vertigo, and now I feel very light headed. Was
this caused by my Tinnitus, and does it mean that it is getting worse?
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

How does one "measure" the loudness of tinnitus?21 Mar 2004 19:37 GMT11
I've had tinnitus for as long as I remember. When I once spoke to a ENT about
it, she said not to worry as I seem to be one of the patients that have gotten
used to it. On second thoughts though, it would be nice to for once have
relative silence. What I am interested to know though ...

Tinnitus symptoms and sounds19 Mar 2004 20:16 GMT3
Just wondering if anyone has similar symptoms. I have had light ringing in
both ears for a couple years and have adjusted to it pretty well. The more
irritating sound starts in the late afternoon or early evening in the left
ear and sounds like a muffled motor running at a distance ...
