When I have a good night sleep using a pill named ATIVAN, the ringing in the brain is reduced substantiously in daytime. Please pardon my naivete, is the lowering of the ringing due to good sleep or that particular brand of medicine named ATIVAN. That is to say, if I could

I have had Tinnitus on and off in both ears for years. In the last four months it has come and mostly stayed. I say mostly because it is worst in the middle of the night upon waking. But on some days, maybe 1 in 5, it has gone by 8-9 pm.

My wife was just diagnosed with a Glomus Jugulare Tumor and I am not sure if this is the right spot to ask the question. We have searched far and wide on the internet and found many definitions and even found a little (VERY LITTLE) information in the newsgroups areas.
