My doctor prescribed this drug for me about a month ago and the trade
name is ATIVA.  I use it for sleep as I could not sleep with all that
ringing in my head.  However, I have discovered this drug is highly
addictive and any attempt to trim it invites instant reaction in a

Others have mentioned here before that a short 'squeak' of high-pitched tone
can clear tinnitus in some people for a short period, but then it always
returns. (In contrast, continuous tone can aggravate the tinnitus).
Crumpling an empty crisp packet also helps. BTW I find this ...
