Is Prozac recommended for tinnitus ?29 Jan 2004 12:17 GMT4
I have recently read that one of the side effects of Prozac could be ringing
in the ears and tinnitus.
If so, is this anti depressant suitable for tinnitus patients ?
Could it aggravate the symptoms ?
Sugar?29 Jan 2004 02:20 GMT3
Has anyone had problems with sugar causing their T to get worse? Seems like
every time I eat things with a lot of sugar, I suffer for days. If I stay
off things like ice cream, cake, etc. My T goes back to being tolerable. Any
comments?
T & Resistance Training28 Jan 2004 19:21 GMT3
In the gym I sometimes notice  this T increases in volume when lifting
weights.
Anyone have this happen?
I should think that increased blood circulation would reduce it.  Or is

In one of the threads a participant referred to solicitation of the

I have been posting on this newsgroup for some eight years now - first
as a tinnitus sufferer who happened to be a doc, then as the director

Well, the bad news is the hearing loss in my right ear is permanent.  If my

Attention Newbies: Tinnitus Habituation for Dummies Chapter 1 27 Jan 2004 12:39 GMT1
I've had several e-mails over the past few days from new members asking about
habituation,  how long does it take, how do we cope?
I'll tell you what I have told them. Habituating tinnitus can be a very
lengthy process. I took me several years. There was no internet support group
Question for the group - especially the MDs27 Jan 2004 07:29 GMT9
I'm trying to rule out dietary causes of tinnitus, although I believe that
they're unlikely.  It just seems to make sense to try the easy stuff first,
while I'm waiting for follow-up visits with ENT and audiology.
I'm currently focusing on caffeine and salicylates.

Where do I start?26 Jan 2004 22:41 GMT16
I have had tinnitus for a few weeks now.  I went to the ear, nose & throat
doc and he says my ears are perfect, he pretty much just walked out of the
room with no desire to help me further... or it was just something that he
couldn't help with so he conceded, albeit rather rudely.
Can anxiety be 'cured'?26 Jan 2004 19:58 GMT23
If anxiety drugs could help some of the T sufferers such as myself,
the next question would be:"Can anxiety be 'cured'?"
