I'm 30 and fly a Microlight aircraft, with proper ear defenders and have
done since 1998.

Here's some good advice.
Forget about your tinnitus. Really.

About a year ago I developed tinnitus. Not sure of the cause since I
only noticed it occasionally.
I stopped using flonase (which I had been using for about a year) and
the tinnitus became barely noticeable after several weeks.

A double blinded study of Viagra usage among older physicians and surgeons

Here is the deal as I see it.
