This was posted on alt.support.hearingloss and I know some were
interested in the therapy for tinnitus.  Although tinnitus is not
addressed specifically in the article, it is an interesting discussion
of the method itself.

Several medical sources list high oral doses of metronidazole as an Ototoxic
medication.
I did not find any citation of a similar effect for topical applcation for
skin infections. (MetroGel)

A couple of us have noted reduced T as a result of low carbohydrate dieting,
the antidote to hyperinsulinemia.   Hyperinsulinemia plays a role in or is
