Cathelicidin & heparin as antivirals: the "thick blood" hypothesis of autoimmunity revisited20 Jan 2009 20:18 GMT2
As you may recall from a post six months ago, heparanase is

Inhibiting it with heparin seems to be helpful for both diseases.  Well,
I was reading a paper on cathelicidin and it turns out heparan sulfate

A new blood test, being developed at the Medical College of Georgia in

Not about sinusitis, or infection, but an article from an highly
responsible publication, which I found somewhat shocking, and  gave me
useful insights into the way 'big pharma' operates, research is
conducted and the context in which physicians have to practice in the

Regulatory T-cells are crucial to antiviral defences10 Jan 2009 16:15 GMT1
Since modern human populations are often deficient in regulatory
T-cells, this finding that Tregs are vital to antiviral defenses

allergy shots..09 Jan 2009 17:29 GMT10
Yesterday i went for my yearly allergy appt with the new doc. They did

had no reaction. He asked if he wanted me to do the (can't remember
the name) where they actually inject the allergen under the skin. I
For Susan & Anyone Else Interested:  A Proposed Revised "Sinusitis FAQ"06 Jan 2009 21:53 GMT26
Back in 2004, I had proposed scrapping the existing "Sinusitis FAQ" and
