It has been three weeks since my Septoplasty operation and I have a question for anyone in the know - my op went quite wrong and they hit a blood vessel which made me stay in hospital for longer until it was fixed so there was a lot more bleeding.

My nose has been very dry lately. Saline rinses help but their relief is only temporary and I need something to get me through the night. Vaseline is apparently effective but supposedly there is a (very slight) chance of it causing lipid pneumonia. I guess the alternative
